From all over the place! We deal directly with wholesalers, retail stores, B2B companies, and merchandise marts to name a few. Each item is hand inspected by us to insure that it meets our quality standards. Occasionally, items do not meet our expectations and are then donated to charity. - I'm a new customer; do I have to create an account to shop?
Yes, this helps us to process your order efficiently and accurately. It also allows us to verify our customers for their protection. You may update your information at any time by logging in and going to the "My Account" link in the upper right hand corner. - Do you share my information with any affiliates or third party companies?
Never. We abhor junk email as much as the next person, so we will never sell or give your information to another party. We simply won't do it. Please see our Privacy Notice link for more information. - I forgot my password! What do I do?
No problem - we can email it to you. Simply click on the "My Account" link, this will direct you to our login page. In the "Returning Customer" box you will see a link titled "Password forgotten? Click here". After you click on the link, enter your email address that you have on file with us and then check your email. Depending on your email settings, you should receive your password either immediately or within a few minutes. - An item in my shopping cart is marked with ***. What does this mean?
Products marked with *** don't exist in desired quantity in our stock. In this case, we will notify you via e-mail that it is on back order and will fulfill the order as soon as possible. Of course we will let you know right away how long the delay is expected to take and give you the option of canceling your order if necessary.
Don't fret if you see this symbol. Chances are we will be receiving the item within 24 to 48 hours and will be able to ship it immediately! - I went to check out and I see PayPal as a payment option. What is Paypal?
PayPal is the world's largest online payment service. PayPal makes sending money as easy as sending email. Any PayPal member can instantly and securely send money to anyone in the U.S. with an email address. - Is PayPal safe to use?
Yes. PayPal uses the most secure SSL encryption technology to keep your information safe. Currently PayPal has more than 40 million member accounts in over 38 countries worldwide. - Why do you use Paypal instead of accepting credit cards directly?
There are lots of reasons we do this, but most importantly we use Paypal to save our customers the much-added expense of having our own merchant account and expensive security features that must be added. Since we are a small company, our main goal is to save you money. PayPal is a free service for the consumer and a low cost alternative for us. As we grow, we might find it more cost effective to set up our own credit card processing; we will let you know if this feature becomes available.
Also note that PayPal has the added feature of transferring funds directly from your bank account, saving you the hassle of writing a check or getting a money order. At no time is your credit card or bank account information shared with us. The owner of House of de Don has been using PayPal for years as her online preference of payment. - Will you collect sales tax on my order?
We are required by law to collect state sales tax on all orders shipped to Georgia. - What about shipping and returns?
Please see our "Shipping and Returns" link in the information box on your left. This includes all of our shipping and returns policies. - Where can I find information about my order?
You can review the details and status of any order you have placed via the "My Account" link. For orders that have already been shipped, you can confirm the method of shipment and order status. Items that have entered the shipping process can not be cancelled. - Why do you have affiliates?
We are constantly looking for great deals on designer and quality merchandise. Occasionally we find merchandise that we simply adore, but can not sell at a lower price then we have found elsewhere. We still want you to get a great deal though! So we have added an affiliates section to help you find your hearts delight.

More than likely, you have a pop-up blocker installed. In order to enable our enlarged pictures, you must add us to your allow list in your pop-up blocker program. You can usually do this from Browser toolbar. We use this feature to minimize download times of large photos. This way, you can choose which ones you view without having to download them all. - How come you don't offer any of your fur merchandise anymore?
This is a personal decision made by the owner, Kristina de Don. House of de Don and Kristina are involved with many animal rescue groups and could no longer carry these items in good conscience. We feel there are many luxurious fur alternatives and will be offering these to our customers instead. Occasionally we will have partner links to some fabulous fur alternative websites, if you can not find what you are looking for here.
House of de Don hopes that you will join us in this fashion forward movement and encourages you to look into the sad tale of the fashion fur industry. - What will you do with the current fur inventory?
Through our connections with animal advocacy groups we decided to inquire about this question ourselves. Should we throw them away? Sell them on EBay and donate the proceeds to animal rights groups? Or donate them to charity? After conferring with many different individuals we have decided to donate them to rescue and animal rights organizations. They will be used to educate the public, raise funds, and clothe the homeless.
